OHIO TRANSFORMER WITH BRIDGE JUMPER

GREENSVILLE, OHIO | We offloaded this 234,000 lb transformer from the railcar with the Buckingham Jack & Slide System, and used  12-lines of Goldhofer PST/E to transport it to the substation. The route to the substation crossed an older bridge, so we used bridge jumpers to distribute the weight and span the bridge safely. Access to the substation was soft and muddy, so we were required to put down steel plating for stability. Once the transformer was in place, the Jack and Slide System smoothly moved the transformer over the pad.
