Buckingham Heavy Transport supported and moved this 36'x185', 650-ton flat bottom barge while it was cut in half and an extension was added down its center. We set up the Buckingham Dolly System under half of the barge, then moved that half sideways 50′. A 20′ extension was added to the middle, and then the half on dollies was moved back up against it and held in place for welding. This resulted in a 56’ x 185′ barge, and added roughly 35,000 cubic feet of usable cargo space.
