Buckingham Transport's client, a gravel and stone company near Indianapolis, needed to move a 27'6"x124' dredge from one section of a quarry to another. The move entailed supporting the dredge as it was removed from the water, lifting it onto a transport system, and driving it 2800' across a street to the new location. Buckingham used cribbing to support the dredge, then lifted it with a hydraulic unified jacking system and installed an customized self-propelled dolly system consisting of steel beams and six power and coaster dollies under it. They then drove it to its new location, completing the project safely and efficiently.
