CLIENT SATISFACTION
Buckingham's range of equipment facilitated the safe delivery of this 360,000-lb transformer into a tight location and prevented crane deployment fees for their client. After installing jacking brackets, Buckingham Heavy Transport used the Buckingham jack & slide system to transload the transformer from railcar to 6 lines of Goldhofer E-steer trailer. They transported it onsite through a power generation station, then uprighted it using a 500-ton gantry system. Because the final site was too tight for the gantry system, Buckingham rotated the transformer 90°, then slid it into position with the Buckingham jack & slide.
